An opportunity! A gap in the wooden bridge. A video of the river movement in the middle of the river.
On December the second we walked the Dún Uí Faoláin loop. We had intended to make sound recordings but because of the proximity of the roads we could not record pure and isolated sound. On previous walks we were in more remote areas which allowed for more quality and isolated sound recording. It may be that we have to revisit these areas to make recordings.
On our journey from Dublin we talked about the movement and energy of the river but interestingly at this section of river the motion was more gentle.
What was a happy coincidence, we bumped into Shay Hurley and his volunteers. We have agreed to meet in the new year to discuss further the project. We have put a link to Shay’s website on the link page of the blog.
